Kothrud is a famous part of Pune with a long and proud history. Its story stretches back centuries, leaving its mark on the very fabric of Pune. It was once known as Kothrud Baug, a haven for the Peshwa rulers, creating historical treasures like the Mrityunjaya Temple. Moving through bustling streets, you might stumble upon the Dashbhuja Ganpati Temple, another testament to Kothrud’s rich past. Generations have lived here together.
